1UP Office Tours was a one-day program hosted twice this summer, by MJMA Architecture & Design on July 14th 2022 and SvN Architects on August 11th 2022.

1UP Office Tours provided high school students with tours of two prominent office in Toronto to learn more about careers in architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, and planning. Participants enjoyed walk-throughs of popular downtown Toronto locations and had the opportunity to network and immerse themselves in professional environments.

July 14 2022: MJMA Architecture & Design

​MJMA provided students with the opportunity to tour their office and engage in activities with the MJMA team. These activities included workshops on project life cycles and steps in addressing a design project. 

August 11 2022: SVN Arcitects + Planners

​SVN provided students with the opportunity to tour the city through the lens of an architect and planner. Students also learned about historical building and restoration projects and how parks and buildings were designed.
