​Program Overview

1UP Fellowship

Leaders Lab

August 17-18, 2024

Two-day orientation camp in downtown Toronto for high school students in the GTA, Hamilton, and Kitchener-Waterloo who want to lead their own school chapter.

​Participants will develop leadership, marketing, public speaking, and project management skills through workshops while making new friends and having lots of fun!

School Chapters

 September 2024- June 2025

1) Learners Stream
Receive a learning challenge every two months to research about a theme related to city building, like livable neighbourhoods and sustainability.
​
2) Design-Builders Stream
Select a specific urban or social issue to tackle in your community, then design and build a solution with the support of mentors and project funding.

Our annual flagship event in March Break where we bring together high school students and professionals to celebrate and incubate city-building ideas.

Online workshops providing a deeper understanding of the city-building industry.

Experience firsthand the day-to-day job environment while gaining career insights from working professionals in urban planning, architecture, and engineering firms.
